What does the {Disarmed?} tag mean in my incoming emails?

The {Disarmed} tag is added by our MailScanner software when it has detected and disarmed potentially dangerous HTML content in an email.

Potentialy dangerous HTML elements include:
  • IFrame Tags
  • Form Tags
  • Script Tags
  • WebBugs
  • Object Codebase Tags

We can configure our MailScanner software to enable these elements on a per-domain or even just email account basis. Please submit a ticket and include the following details:
1) In the subject line state: Remove {Disarmed} tag
2) Mention the Email Address or domain.
3) Identify the HTML elements you do not wish to have processed by the MailScanner (either specific elements or all of them).
